Questions for window washing pro: Any professional tips on equipment, methods, supplies?

I need to train good hard workers to do professional quality work in residential compound. Have good squeegees, scrapers, brushes etc. What cleaning fluid recipe? Tell about methods please. Keep equipment clean and dry(do not store wet)





Vinegar(earth friendly) and water will clean well(mother earth etc for recipe). Or more money use ammonia or bleach based cleaners. DO NOT MIX





Cleaning windows in sun can cause cracking and/ or spotting.





Non soybean based ink in newspaper(not the color parts) works well to eliminate streaking( i think it is the lead). A single sheet per window(keep it clean).





1. Spray/flush window to remove grit/debris.


2. Apply 'cleaner'.


3. Squeegee(and wipe 'blade' off on clean rag between wipes).


4. Use sheet of newspaper if streaking.

I am not a proffesional.. Ammonia and water.. use newsprint 9or actual newspapers.. no streaking at all.. any good quality industrial supply catalog will have squeeges etc.. try Sams Club office catalog.
